Residential Hydraulic Elevators


Our TIGER LIFT® residential hydraulic elevators are an affordable and practical vertical transportation solution, requiring a space not much larger than a closet. Our hydraulic elevators provide superior ride quality, extremely quiet operation and the durability of commercial grade components. These heavy duty elevators can carry much more weight than typical residential elevators, allowing for elaborate cab finishes, commercial style doors, and other options not available with other units.

We offer both direct (model X3R) and roped (model X5R) hydraulic elevators. The direct model is slightly less expensive, but is limited in the amount of travel distance before a hole in the ground for the hydraulic cylinder is required. The roped model eliminates the need for a hole by using a pulley and hoist ropes, along with a broken rope safety. The vast majority of residential hydraulic elevators are roped (X5R), as the slight increase in cost typically is far less than the expense of providing the hole. Both require the same size hoistway and machine room and have similar ride characteristics.
