About Elevator Concepts Ltd

Elevator Concepts, LTD. was founded in 1986 by Doug Scott and Leigh Gaither to design and manufacture high quality small elevators specifically for the residential and access market. We started out with 4000 square feet of rented space, and have been growing ever since. Today we make our home in Riverview, Michigan, with over 20,000 square feet of manufacturing space on almost 5 acres.

We started out making only one product, a small basement traction machine elevator. Today we offer a complete line of small elevators, dumbwaiters and platform lifts which encompass 11 different platform models. No other small elevator manufacturer offers such a comprehensive product line. We continually integrate innovation with improvement, with new additions to the product line being introduced on a regular basis.

Elevator Concepts LTD celebrates 20 years of manufacturing vertical transportation equipment of the highest quality for the Barrier Free access and residential markets.
